Educated at Rugby School and with a deep love of theatre, Lloyd has been working in the finance industry since 1988.
He describes himself as:

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Lloyd helped me get on the housing ladder and also to remortgage
He also went the extra mile and helped me sort out insurances/protection.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
LLoyd has been AMAZING since the day we crossed paths, he is incredibly patient and explained every thing in detail so that I know what was happening at every step of the way.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
I am over the moon with the outcome and I now have a mortgage with a shorter term.
What could they have done better?
Lloyd is AMAZING and communicates well either via phone calls, through emails and on occasion meeting up in person. He is really friendly and made the process stress free and straight forward.

We needed to re-mortgage and have used Lloyd before.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Lloyd was able to talk through with us what we needed from our re-mortgage and then find the best deal possible that fitted our needs. He dealt with all aspects of the re-mortgage and made it as simple and hassle free as possible.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes. We have been able to secure another low rate for our new mortgage term, raise funds to finish home improvements and all without any problems or having to deal with lots of different people. Lloyd as always made it a stress free process.
What could they have done better?
We were very happy with our service from Lloyd hence why we keep using him so no immediate suggestions come to mind... just keep up the good work and please never retire! x

My mortgage was coming up for renewal.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Lloyd got in contact with me well in advance of the renewal date and helped me through the process, end to end. He understood that lowering my monthly costs and getting the best rate was the most important element for me, and suggested new plans accordingly.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely. Lloyd once again made it clear what was required of me, what product I was applying for and what it cost me in the long term. I firmly believe I would not have managed to get the same deal on my own.
The new plan is perfect for my situation and Lloyd understood this from the beginning. Advice was tailored to my needs and was put forward in a language I could understand.

Lloyd helped me massively by advising me what I'll need, by sourcing the right lender for me, and by giving me the best deal...
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Lloyd is value for money, the amount of time he had spent on my case due to some hiccups, was unbeleavable, to a point where I was thinking that he should charge more as I was feeling guilty.... I have used financial advisors before, but let me tell you, no one comes close to Lloyd, his professionalism, his kind approach which makes you feel at ease, his assurance when times get stressful, the list goes on.....
Lloyd made it possible to also get work done so our dream home is complete, and I truly thank Lloyd for that!.
What could they have done better?
I can honestly say hand on heart that there is nothing better Lloyd could have done, and I don't often say that! Lloyd has been outstanding and his service comes second to none!

I wanted to remortgage a BTL flat and find a mortgage lender that could release as much equity as possible with an interest-only mortgage.

We needed to remortgage on both our buy-to-let and residential properties as we had come to the end of a fixed rate deal.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Lloyd researched and sourced the best rates with the whole spectrum of mortgage companies. He then applied for them on our behalf, thereby taking all the stress out of the process. He listened carefully to what wanted and gave us sound advice resulting in an incredibly smooth process. I would never remortage or buy a new property without him!.

I needed someone to help me with my first mortgage.

I had no idea where to start when it came to my first mortgage so Lloyd took me through the whole market to find the best deal for me. He guided me through the whole process and stuck with me through a myriad of problems!.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
I am now happily moved into my first ever home and loving every minute of it!.
What could they have done better?
At one point the mortgage fell through and it took a strongly worded email from myself to get things back on track. I wouldn't have expected Lloyd to write such an email but it felt at one point like he had given up the ghost. Not a complaint though because I got what I wanted in the end :)

Thanks for your comments Kat. It means a great deal to me that every client of mine is happy. With regard "giving up the ghost" I can assure you that isn't the case. Mortgage brokering can be a bit like an iceberg, and only 20% of what you see is visible. There is a 80% that goes on without your knowledge. In this case, I had many conversations with senior underwriters and managers to make sure that the "strongly worded email " was given the priority it deserved. However, you and Dexter are now in a beautiful home and I wish you all the very best....please don't keep me a secret. Lloyd
