Educated at Rugby School and with a deep love of theatre, Lloyd has been working in the finance industry since 1988.
He describes himself as:
“ A Shakespearean actor trapped inside the body of a mortgage adviser.”
With warmth and humour, Lloyd looks to create lifelong working relationships with all his clients.
Music and poetry are his passions, having recorded an EP of his own songs ( he might even send you a link to them if you are lucky )

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
We needed a variety of options for our mortgages recently, both on our house and for parents.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Lloyd has been amazing over the last few years. He has responded to all our complicated needs and changing circumstances - finding us the best products for repayment, interest only and let to buy mortgages. Ive often called him in a panic needing some quick advice and he's been there to help.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely - Lloyd has always found us a great product that fits our needs and saves us money. Everyone needs a Lloyd!! I cant imagine sorting mortgages out without him!.
What could they have done better?
Nothing - everything has been great.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
We had adverse credit so we knew that we could not approach a high street lender and would need some professional help.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
He gave us sound advice and stated our options directly he was very clear what was required. We had to provide a lot of information and Lloyd was very good at predicting what the lender would require to save time it did take some time for us to gain a mortgage offer but Lloyd always kept in touch and reassured us where he could.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Fantastic result we now have a mortgage a offer in place just waiting on the legal stuff to be done LLoyd arranged solicitors and all of the relevant insurances that we would require in relation to the mortgage he gave us all of the information we needed plus some options that were best for our personal circumstances.
What could they have done better?
Sometimes Lloyd went quiet and that did worry us I appreciate he is busy but an email just to say he is still chasing our case would have given us peace of mind.
