What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Our current mortgage deal was coming to an end and I just felt completely daunted by the thought of starting to search for a competitive offer. Rather than spending hours trawling the mortgage market, badly, we decided to opt for specialist support, to help us find the right deal for us.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
LLoyd came and met with me and discussed all of our arrangements, wants and wishes. Lloyd explained the options available to us and undertook all the required research. He did all the legwork, advised me what my options looked like and took all the pain out of the process.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Lloyd found a great deal, completed all the paperwork and advised me what other documentation I would need to provide. He patiently prompted me throughout the process, pushing me to get all the documentation to him in order that we could push the process through as quickly as possible.

First house purchase and wanted the best deal available. A friend had previously used Lloyd for his own house purchase and was extremely happy with the service, therefore, he recommended Lloyd without hesitation.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Informed me what information I would have to provide and collated it all. Listened to what my circumstances were and what type of arrangement I would like, then recommended several products. All met the requirement, I couldn't have asked for more.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Everything has gone smoothly. Mortgage is being finalized in the next week or so.
What could they have done better?
There is literally nothing more Lloyd could have done. He guided me through the whole mortgage application in a swift, professional and friendly manner.

At the time of needing Lloyds help I was only just over a year into a new business and I realised that I would need some help and support to secure a Mortgage.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Lloyd managed to provide me with a couple of lending options that suited my needs at the time, the Mortgage offer was met and I successfully moved house.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, as above - I have a fixed rate Mortgage that I feel very comfortable with.
What could they have done better?
The only hiccup I experienced was when the first Mortgage offer, once applied for took a long time to action and Lloyd then went and secured another lender, perhaps there could have been a little more communication in that period whilst waiting.

5 years ago my wife and I need to take out our first Mortgage and the associated insurances that come along with this process. We used Lloyd for this initial application and have used him ever since for all of our Mortgage needs, including another house purchase 2 years ago.
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
The reason we like Lloyd so much is his ability to tailor his advice to our circumstances. When we initially engaged with Lloyd as first time buyers 5 years ago, he thoroughly explained the house buying process and provided us with all of the pertinent information required for us to make informed decisions about both the type of mortgage and associated insurances that best suited our needs. When we moved into a larger family home 2 years ago, Lloyd was again able to tailor his advice to our new circumstances (it was a more substantial mortgage and we'd started a family). This advice manifested itself in a requirement to re-align our insurance needs (to factor in our daughter) and changing mortgage provider.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely. From our first step on the property ladder to purchasing our 'forever' family home, Lloyd's advice has been an integral part of this process! Ultimately, we were looking for a Financial Advisor who could provide us with advice and information that gave us the confidence that we were making the best choices for our family. This is exactly what Lloyd does and is the main reason we go back to him for advice time and time again.

As a result of using Lloyd’s services, we have saved £150 per month on our buy-to-let mortgage and have fixed now for 5 years. We are now heading into thinking about our residential mortgage. We are very happy!.
What could they have done better?
He provides excellent options which reflect the best on the market, however it would be good to offer the pros/cons of various options at the time of presenting them so that we can be clearer on what they ‘mean’ and how they compare. (Lloyd did provide this clarification once asked for.)
