Educated at Rugby School and with a deep love of theatre, Lloyd has been working in the finance industry since 1988.
He describes himself as:
“ A Shakespearean actor trapped inside the body of a mortgage adviser.”

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
My marriage was ending & I needed to discuss mortgages, affordability on my earnings, particularly as a self employed person
How has Lloyd Richards helped you?
Lloyd was so helpful & informative. We discussed all my options & he has given me advice on what I need to do to ensure as a self employed person, I have the best options available to me when I am buying a property. He also helped me gain a clearer insight into exactly what is considered income, such as Child Maintenance & left me feeling far more at ease with the process than I did before I spoke to him.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, I am now working on improving my self employed accounts & getting everything in order to be able to get myself a mortgage

Nothing, he's an absoloute gem

He was there to advise and find best deal for me. Always quick to respond to emails and issues encountered.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Not quite but not LLoyds fault. Mortgage provider made mistakes with documentation and delays caused me to except an offer closer to home.
What could they have done better?
Maybe check with mortgage provider to make sure they are in sync with myself and the offer I am expecting. Any alterations or concerns emphasized more stringently with mortgage provider to avoid mishaps.

Lloyd contacted me 30 minutes after I registered my interest on vouchedfor and arranged a convenient time to call. Lloyd was a pleasure to talk to and answered all of my queries. After a brief chat Lloyd crunched the numbers and had emailed me an overview of the best mortgage rates within 10 minutes. Overall a great service.
